recomend early 144-170 adjustable rockers for valve train and metal rear firewall at rear seat to stop the flames longer from sliced fuel tank when some drunk hits you from rear. I keep thinking of a boxed steel frame around gas tank at floor level, but the factory Pinto kit worked ok on my Pinto when hit by one ton chevy truck HARD.
Will look up those rockers, thanks. There is going to be a firewall where the rear seat was. I’m looking into the tank armour kit for the gas tank, eventually the tank will be replaced with a fuel cell when I can afford it. Hope you came out of your Pinto alright!
