  1. recomend early 144-170 adjustable rockers for valve train and metal rear firewall at rear seat to stop the flames longer from sliced fuel tank when some drunk hits you from rear. I keep thinking of a boxed steel frame around gas tank at floor level, but the factory Pinto kit worked ok on my Pinto when hit by one ton chevy truck HARD.

    • Will look up those rockers, thanks. There is going to be a firewall where the rear seat was. I’m looking into the tank armour kit for the gas tank, eventually the tank will be replaced with a fuel cell when I can afford it. Hope you came out of your Pinto alright!
